1.When logging in to game First thing you should do is click Faction then Research and Donate to recommended research selection.

Resources-
Use all oil, steel, polymers,  thorium (resources or rss) to upgrade buildings and research. You will get daily resources reward at 4:00 pm PST - logout of game and login again to see item in Message area. You can store it and use it later. Don't keep too much resources without shield activated. People will attack you and steal them. You can also keep resources safe by not claiming them in Missions and System Message (only the last 40 messages will be save). This is a good method to save resources for a large upgrade like HQ without wasting a shield. Also, try not to send resources to other players. The 50% tax on resources is extremely high. Wait until a player request specific resource to minimize tax rate.

Troops-
Produce a lot of Level 1 Assault units to gather resources.  Assaults carry the highest load capacity and they are the fastest units.

Attack/Defense -
We follow several rules to ensure that battles are executed as intended. Individual attack/defense armies can be mixed (attack armies can participate in defense battles and vice-versa). If you are joining an Ally's attack/defense battle, you are able to join as long you arrive before the battle ends. It's easier to enter a defense battle because usually allies prefer to be closer together on the world map. This only works for armies that are in the same Faction. This rule does not apply for armies from different Factions. Keep in mind that you have to send your army at the right moment. If you are too late, your army will start in the second battle instead of the first.
War Planet Online has synchronous battles. The outcomes of battles occur in real time. If you and your ally send an army but your army arrives first, it may take a large amount of damage before the ally's army arrives. Even after the ally's army arrives, you may take a lot of losses. Coordinate your attacks/defense with your allies for the best outcome. When you send a defensive army to help an ally against a rally, but your army enters after the battle is already started, you will enter too late and your ally's army might take a significant amount of damage. Even if a second Ally then sends a defensive army to help, you may still take a lot of damage, even if you win. Coordinate your attacks/defense with your teammate's and try to place your city near your allies for better defense.

Scouting -
Always scout first to confirm how many are waiting for you. Do a re-scout when 1 minute away from target to confirm target did not get army reinforcements.

Rallies-
A Rally ensures that all armies will arrive at the same time. Rallies can't be combined with individual attacks. Rallies always come in waves. That means that if there are two Rallies, the Rally that comes last must wait until the first one is finished fighting. Even if you send an individual army that will arrive seconds before the Rally, it must wait until the Rally is finished. The benefit of a Rally is that combined armies will arrive together and will fight together. Individual armies can be more powerful, but you can't guarantee that all armies will arrive before the battle is finished, and one of the individual armies could take a heavy amount of damage.  Attacking the enemy should be done in rallies to minimize army loss.

GENERAL NOTE: Keep in mind that rallies are often not the best choice of attack. Your enemy can activate a protective shield moments before the rally arrives, or call for help from their allies. You can coordinate attacks with your allies and make attacks that have more power than armies sent via the Operations Room building. Note that you can't combine your individual attacks with other rallies and vice versa.

Garrison-
The Reinforcement Garrison has two game mechanics. Outside reinforcements: Shows how many troops are helping an ally. Inside reinforcements: Shows how many allied troops are helping you defend your base. Outside and inside reinforcements show you how many troops are defending, even if they are currently battling. Until the battle is over, additional defense armies can join. Armies not sent from the Reinforcement Garrison will be sent back to their Bases after the battle is over. Only armies sent from the Reinforcement Garrison will stay. To keep your army safe, send them to an alliance member with shield on as reinforcement. Also, upgrade the reinforcement garrison, each level will add 1 more teammate to help you.

The Research Institute-
Provides access to technologies that grant permanent boosts to your base and units. Research types are grouped into four trees based on their area of effect: Offense, Defense, Economy and Development.

Airfield -
Increases the maximum army size. It also provides information about the current army status: maximum army size, idle units, and armies on the World Map.

The Deployment Platform-
Increases the maximum army size.

The Operations Room-
Unlocks the Rally feature. Rallies can only be used while in a Faction. Upgrading this building requires a special currency: Military Cooperation.

The Communications Center -
Unlocks scouting drones and provides "scouting." The drones are used to scout enemies in order to obtain information about their units, commanders and resources. The scouting value determines the chances of receiving more detailed information when scouting.

The Command Center-
Provides detailed information for each of the commanders, including their level, statistics, skills and stamina. Armies on the World Map need a commander to lead them. Because of this, each time a commander is unlocked it means that an additional army can be sent.

J.Thrasher-
Is your Defense Commander. He can never leave your Base; he's always protecting it from enemy attacks. Trasher is the only Commander who can use equipment, which can be put in a total of eight available slots. Each slot can hold only one piece of equipment at a time. Equipment is sometimes rewarded when you level up your Offense Commanders, and you can craft it in your Tech Factory.

Defense Commander Equipment-
The pieces of Defense Commander equipment are the game's only permanent items. They can be equipped in the Defense Commander slots, of which there is a total of 8 available. They are all accessible from the beginning of the game via the Defense menu.
Each slot can be equipped with only one piece of equipment. While equipped, its bonuses are applied globally -- meaning that if it provides an attack bonus, it'll provide that attack bonus against a Renegade Camp, another player, while attacking a Provincial Capital, etc.
Each piece of equipment has a list of bonuses that are activated when equipped on the Defense Commander. There are 2 "types" of bonuses: Standard bonuses and Random bonuses. Standard bonuses are fixed for each item. They are predefined and only their value changes based on the item's quality. Random bonuses can be added to higher-Tier items. They will add a random bonus from the pool of bonuses when the item is received. Once the random bonus is determined and attached to the item, it can't change anymore.

The Tech Factory-
Allows you to craft Equipment items from blueprints. You can browse all blueprints by Equipment type. You can always see the blueprint requirements for each piece of Equipment, even if you can't craft it yet.
Upgrade the Tech Factory to unlock blueprints and get access to more powerful Equipment pieces.

Sentinel Rank-
The Sentinel Rank is a feature which lets you progress through your Defensive Commander's own unique set of passive bonuses and active skills that can only be improved by spending Sentinel Points. "How to Get Sentinel Points"
Sentinel Points are earned by increasing your Defensive Commander's Sentinel Rank.
Each Sentinel Rank awards 5 Sentinel Points. Experience towards this Rank is earned through participating in specific Limited-Time Events.

Sentinel Skills-
The Sentinel Skills are J. Trasher's ultimate abilities. They can be unlocked through leveling up the Sentinel Rank and can be used through the Skills menu on the World Map.

Instant Resources-
Instant Resources give you 6 hours' worth of output from all your resource buildings.
Bonuses from resource boosters are also applied, meaning you can maximize their use by activating boosters before activating them.

Code Red
Code Red recalls all your armies to your Base in 3 seconds, making it a great defensive skill.
Unfortunately armies that are fighting, waiting to fight, in a Rally or traveling cannot be recalled when the skill is activated.

Renegade Revenge
Renegade Revenge makes attacks against Renegades cost 0 stamina for the next 60 minutes. This allows you to wipe the floor with them when you feel like it.

Full Mobilization
Increases your Rally Size by 50%. Keep in mind that in order for the skill to work you have to initiate the Rally.
One other thing to mention is that this skill is used once you start a Rally, so you can activate the skill and then deactivate it before you start a Rally, that way you will keep your skill for later activation.

Maintenance Facility-
Increases the garage capacity (the number of damaged units that can be stored), repair speed, and modernization speed.

Assembly Line-
Increases the unit production capacity (the number of units that can be produced at once) and unit production speed at the Unit Factory.

Power Relay-
relays Power from the main power supply building to all other buildings. In order for the Power Relay to work, it should be connected by a road to a working Power Relay or to "tile zero." Power Relays have ranges measured in road tiles. Upgrading the main power supply building will increase the Power Relays' range. All buildings need electricity to operate normally. If a building is not powered, its production will be paused. The Power Relay has an overcharge, you can add a power cells there. Power Cells improve the production facility. There is (3) types of power cells …. Military, Production and Utility. Dow below you will see a screenshot of the Power cells.

The Global Intelligence Agency -
Reviews information about enemy armies. It also increases the surveillance value. The surveillance value serves to reduce the chance of a scouting enemy gaining information about units and resources within the base. Upgrading the GIA will provide access to detailed information about enemy armies and increase the surveillance value.

Events-
Always Contribute to Events, "we all win prizes "
